Position: Sr. IT Program Manager
City: Charlotte, North Carolina OR Addison, Texas
On-Site: 3 days per week on-site, 2 remote
Duration: 12-18+ month contract
Type: W2 contract, paid hourly. No C2C, 1099, or third-party submissions will be accepted. Only direct W-2 candidates will be considered.
Pay Rate Range: W2 $64-75/hr

Job Description:
o The Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple Agile teams across multiple projects, programs and time zones.
o To be successful in this role, the candidate should be understanding the entire Agile Solution process, to learn, implement, and mature Lean-Agile principles and practices.
Responsibilities:
o Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery -e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
o Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams.
o Facilitates dependency management/risk management /impediment removal for the defined deliverables.
o Ensuring compliance to standards and providing end-to- end visibility into the health of the project, program and associated deliverables.
o This role ensures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery
o Provide guidance about how to create and manage an intake process, healthy backlog, and how to facilitate valuable Agile ceremonies.
o Help teams to optimize implementation of Enterprise Agile standards and practices.
o Help to identify and resolve organizational impediments that impact team maturity and performance.
o Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution across teams and with stakeholders, including external teams, business partners, and other Agile Release Trains/programs.
o Influence and guide business and technology leaders on changes that enable Agility.
o Governance & Stakeholder Management - Contributes to artifacts needed for governance forums. Understands stakeholder expectations and creates regular updates to keep stakeholders informed.
o Facilitates dependency management/risk management /impediment removal for the defined deliverables.
o Supports resource planning.
