The Role

The Engineering Group Manager (EGM) will be managing a product development team that is responsible for design, development and release of advanced high compute ADAS and IVI ECUs.

Hybrid:

This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Office location three times per week (Tues., Wed., Thurs.) at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business].

What You'll Do
  • Responsible for guiding the technical direction of projects.
  • Leading a team of 8-12 engineers
  • Managing product development team responsible for design, development and release of advanced high compute ADAS and IVI ECUs
  • Oversees the design and prototyping of electronic systems, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Establish and oversee testing protocols to validate designs against requirements.
  • Analyze test results and lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues
  • Develop and launch premium platform all done in-house
  • Meet all requirements delivered from product management team

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
  • Demonstrated results in successful project execution
  • 10 years hands on experience
  • Excellent multi-functional communication and leadership skills - able to get multiple teams moving in the same direction
  • Demonstrated ability to "Deal with Ambiguity" while driving timely decision making
  • High Compute SOC's
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mentor Graphics Experience
  • Proven hands on experience in design and development of high compute PCBA for ADAS/IVI applications.

Company Vehicle: Upon successful completion of a motor vehicle report review, you will be eligible to participate in a company vehicle evaluation program, through which you will be assigned a General Motors vehicle to drive and evaluate. Compensation:

The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.

  • The expected base compensation for this role is: $168,000 - $258,800. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
