Job Description
Finance SAP Project User
***Only candidates located near the Woodcliff Lake, NJ area are to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***

Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or IT
3-5 years of experience in a project management or business analysis role

Required Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in using SAP financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset management
Familiarity with SAP reporting and business intelligence tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in providing end-user training and support is preferred
Project management experience
Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence)

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the finance team and subject matter experts to understand and document business requirements and ensure the SAP system is configured to meet those needs
Participate in the design and implementation of new SAP financial features or modules
Provide support to other finance users on the effective use of SAP for financial management
Identify and report any issues or errors within the SAP financial modules, and work with the Project team to resolve them
Assist in the implementation and rollout of new SAP financial features or modules
Serve as a point of contact for finance-related SAP inquiries and support
Execute comprehensive test cases to validate the functionality of SAP financial modules, configurations, and integrations
Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing on SAP financial systems
Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing, and work with the IT and development teams to resolve them
Serve as a liaison between the subject matter experts and the IT department, effectively communicating testing results and requirements
Support on developing training materials and sessions to finance end-users on the proper use of SAP financial modules
