Job Title: Retail Product Manager
Location: Hybrid onsite near Providence, RI (Local)
Employment Type: (Full-time or contract)
Duration: 12 month initial contract

Our client is seeking a Product Manager to support the Application Development. The ideal candidate will have a strong retail background.
Required Experience:
10+ years experience in Product Manager role within software development or application engineering teams.
2+ years of recent retail projects
Expertise selling their product's vision and roadmap to VP, Director and c-suite managers for approvals.
Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with strong knowledge of agile practices and methodologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.
Ideal career path will be moving from developer/ engineering background into a Product Management position.
Experience using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for backlog management and sprint planning.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Product Manager (CPM), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Product Manager for one or more product engineering teams, overseeing the development and enhancement of multiple projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and strategic objectives.
Create and manage product roadmaps, ensuring that project goals, deliverables, and timelines are clearly communicated to cross-functional teams.
Lead the creation of detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog items.
Work closely with the development team to clarify requirements, provide feedback, and prioritize work to maximize value.
Continuously review and refine the product backlog to align with changing business needs and priorities.
Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other agile ceremonies.
