Position: Gen AI Business Analyst

Location: Washington, DC(4 days onsite in a week)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Analyst (BA) to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on Generative AI projects. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, define project goals, and ensure the successful delivery of AI-driven solutions. As a key contributor, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, driving innovative Generative AI initiatives that deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and analyze business needs, challenges, and opportunities for Generative AI solutions.
• Define and document project goals, scope, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
• Elicit, gather, and document detailed business and functional requirements for Generative AI initiatives.
• Work closely with architects, developers, and data scientists to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and automation using Generative AI.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to ensure alignment among stakeholders and project teams.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Support the development, testing, and deployment of AI solutions by providing business context and validating outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Stay informed about advancements in Generative AI technologies and identify opportunities for their application in business processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in AI/ML or technology-driven projects.
• Strong understanding of business analysis frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts, technologies, and use cases (e.g., GPT, Chatbots, Document Automation).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or other project management and documentation platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience working on AI/ML or data-driven projects is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their AI/ML services.
