Title: Industrial Engineer - Onsite

Description:
Introduction and experience:
Position will be focused on a large-scale business move from one plant to another, involving multiple product families of different types of products.
Candidates must have industrial (preferably), mechanical, or manufacturing degree.
Experience on Manufacturing and or assembly process (at least five years).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain 2D layouts and general 2D dimensional drawings.
Experience with construction and electrical drawings preferred.
Collaborate with suppliers on custom quotes for a variety of equipment.
Place purchase requests and orders for new tools, equipment, and company assets.
Understand and coordinate equipment installation requirements and timeline with supplier.
Collaborate with operations teams on equipment moves.
Oversee installation of various types of equipment (cranes, presses, ovens, transformers and assembly stations) and prepare appropriate safety documentation for the required work.
Skills:
Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and tasks.
Ability to work independently and work well under pressure of time constraints.
Knowledge of equipment for purchase and installation.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Engineering Knowledge:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD.
Experience with SAP.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
3-5 years in industrial engineering, ideally with manufacturing or assembly background.
Experience managing contractors or project teams in equipment installations or relocations.
Equipment Management & Process Improvement:
Oversee the relocation and installation of ovens, presses, cranes, conveyor systems, and miscellaneous assembly-type equipment.
Document and prepare processes for startup, facilitating mass production readiness.
Implement floor process improvements.
Project & Contractor Management:
Coordinate with subcontractors for equipment moves and setups.
Collaborate with multiple suppliers, ensuring efficient coordination.
Technical Skills:
Utilize AutoCAD for planning and SAP for business processes (not critical but advantageous).
Manage projects, potentially using Microsoft Project or similar software.
