Role Overview

We re hiring a hands-on, technical leader to drive our data platform, analytics engineering, and AI/automation strategy. In this role, you'll set the technical direction, architect scalable systems, and lead cross-functional teams to eliminate operational bottlenecks and accelerate growth using AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

< data-start="770" data-end="806">Data Platform & Pipelines</>
  • Own the full lifecycle of data ingestion (ETL/ELT) from third-party marketplaces and partners

  • Maintain high standards for data freshness, latency, and accuracy through robust SLAs

  • Build scalable infrastructure with monitoring, alerting, and incident response

  • Manage and expand our internal asset catalog and proprietary datasets

  • Lead the analytics engineering function from the ground up

  • Deliver a centralized, self-serve metrics layer and executive dashboards (GMV, liquidity, funnel performance, SLAs)

  • Own taxonomy and experimentation design within Amplitude and other tools

  • Identify manual workflows across listing QA, pricing, customer support, KYC, and payouts

  • Prioritize automation efforts by ROI and partner closely with Product, Ops, Risk, and Finance

  • Build and deploy LLM-powered agents to streamline and scale operations

  • Grow and manage a multidisciplinary team across data, analytics, and ML engineering

  • Oversee budgets, vendors, and technical partnerships

  • Translate business goals into a clear, outcomes-driven quarterly roadmap

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • 8 12+ years in data engineering/analytics, including 4+ years in leadership roles

  • Proven experience building and maintaining scalable data ingestion systems with strong SLA performance

  • Hands-on expertise in analytics engineering, including metrics modeling, experimentation, and executive reporting

  • Proficient in Python and SQL, with strong data modeling and code review skills

  • Real-world experience shipping LLM-powered tools or agentic systems that drove measurable business impact

  • Deep familiarity with tools like AWS, Airflow, and AI frameworks such as Langchain or Pydantic AI

Preferred:

  • Experience scaling teams in high-growth startups

  • Background in marketplaces, fintech, or e-commerce (pricing, risk, or payments)

  • Familiarity with collectibles or alternative asset marketplaces

  • Exposure to operational workflows and automation in a product-driven environment
