Overview | Our Customer is seeking a skilled Satellite Gateway Technician with a comprehensive understanding of satellite systems and gateway components, including antennas, frequency converters, and related equipment. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using test instruments such as spectrum analyzers. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining a gateway setup, conducting integration and testing of components, and providing remote support to other gateways. Strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role |
Payrate | $6,000/ month on W-2 - LanceSoft shall provide work-related travel, vehicle, gas and accommodation
- Any personal travel must be borne by Resources
- Resource must be available and on standby if count of working days is less than 22 days per month as they shall be paid a monthly rate; if Resource is unavailable due to personal reasons then the respective day(s) shall be unpaid

Job Description | - Install and Maintain satellite communication gateways for LEO constellation
- Understand and troubleshoot satellite gateway components such as antennas, frequency converters, and related hardware
- Utilize test instruments like spectrum analyzers for diagnostic and testing purposes
- Conduct integration and testing of satellite gateway components to ensure optimal performance
- Provide remote support to other gateways, addressing technical issues and ensuring smooth operations
- Travel to different gateways as required for local support

Qualifications | - Proven experience working with satellite systems and gateway components
- Proficiency in using test Radio Frequency instruments like spectrum analyzers
- Strong understanding of satellite gateway technology and equipment
- Experience in integration and testing of satellite components is preferred
- Experience with IT and Networking equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively and independently
- Excellent organizational skills to manage equipment inventory efficiently
- Effective communication skills for remote support and collaboration with other teams
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver s license w/ clean record and ability to travel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in outdoor, rooftop, shelter, or small-cell environments
- Ability to travel regionally as needed
