Description
We are looking for an experienced O365 Administrator to oversee and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment in Salem, Massachusetts. This Contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team while ensuring smooth operations of M365 services such as SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Azure-based tools. The role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver excellent support for faculty, staff, and students.
Responsibilities:
Configure, manage, and support SharePoint Online to facilitate document storage, sharing, and team collaboration.
Administer Exchange Online to ensure reliable email communication and security.
Develop and implement PowerShell scripts to automate M365 administrative tasks, including user account management and permissions.
Manage Azure-based M365 services, optimizing performance, security, and availability.
Provide technical support for M365 applications, addressing user issues promptly and effectively.
Monitor M365 system performance and generate reports on usage, security, and efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, updates, and system changes.
Support Microsoft Teams to enhance communication and collaboration within the organization.
Ensure compliance with security best practices and standards across M365 services.
Collaborate with other teams to integrate M365 applications seamlessly with university systems.
Requirements
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration.
Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Online and Exchange Online.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation within the M365 environment.
Solid understanding of Azure services and their integration with Microsoft 365.
Familiarity with security protocols and compliance standards for M365 platforms.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Ability to work onsite three days per week in Salem, Massachusetts.
