Description
We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Englewood, Colorado. This Contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic telecom services environment, supporting diverse technologies and collaborating across multiple teams. The role requires hands-on expertise in managing Apple macOS and Windows systems, scripting, and leveraging cloud-based tools to streamline operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Apple macOS and Windows environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and configure operating systems, with a focus on advanced macOS issues.
Oversee OS imaging, patch management, and software deployment processes for macOS systems.
Utilize tools such as Jamf, Kandji, and Intune to manage devices and ensure compliance.
Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Apple Scripting to enhance system efficiency.
Work within Azure and Intune cloud environments to support business operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security and network specialists to address system needs.
Implement and maintain endpoint protection tools like FileVault.
Ensure all systems adhere to organizational standards and compliance requirements.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of corporate IT experience, with a focus on systems management.
Expertise in macOS and Windows, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Proficient in Jamf for device management.
Strong scripting skills, particularly with PowerShell.
Solid understanding of cloud technologies, including Intune and Azure.
Familiarity with endpoint protection tools such as FileVault.
Experience working with automation tools and processes.
Knowledge of Kandji and Apple Scripting is a plus.
