Data Innovations Instrument Manager Configuration Consultant
The Data Innovations Instrument Manager Configuration Consultant - Contractor is responsible for configuring the Instrument Manager product to ensure seamless instrument connectivity, facilitating data transfer between LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) systems and Instrument Manager, and providing training and documentation to enable long-term maintenance by client personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure the Instrument Manager product by setting up rules that enable effective instrument connectivity between LIMS and laboratory equipment such as (Alinity S, Alinity C, CPBAS P512).
- Transfer data between LIMS systems and Instrument Manager, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the process.
- Interpret existing configurations/rules in Instrument Manager and provide insights for optimization and enhancement of laboratory workflows.
- Develop technical documentation for existing configurations/rules comprehensively to create a clear reference for future maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Train client personnel on the use and maintenance of the Instrument Manager system, ensuring they are equipped for long-term success.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in configuring Data Innovations Instrument Manager.
- Strong understanding of LIMS systems and data transfer protocols between laboratory instruments and software applications.
- Excellent documentation skills with the ability to create clear and concise training materials and user guides.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and support client personnel.
- Familiarity with laboratory workflows and processes, enabling effective configuration and optimization of instrument connectivity and data management.
- Candidate is required to work onsite in either Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA. Travel expenses will be covered.
