Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years in a professional software engineering environment
- Strong background in backend systems, REST APIs, and microservices
- Proficiency with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
- Excellent understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization
- Experience debugging across multiple codebases
- Proven leadership in mentoring and guiding other engineers
- Relational databases (Postgres)
- Messaging frameworks (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS)
- Websockets (Stomp, etc.)
- Cloud hosting experience (AWS or Google Cloud Platform)
- Startup mindset - adaptable, curious, and eager to wear many hats
