Job Description:
This role requires hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, API integrations, and database queries. Beyond development, the Salesforce Developer will play a critical role in project management, code quality oversight, technical strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development:
- Design, develop, enhance, and implement Salesforce solutions to support new and existing business initiatives.
- Build custom applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Execute flow and transaction control statements with Apex in conjunction with Salesforce APIs.
- Integration & APIs:
- Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using SOAP API, REST API, Bulk API, and Metadata API.
- Build and manage APIs that can be consumed by external applications.
- Database Management:
- Write and optimize SOQL and SOSL queries to manage, search, and manipulate Salesforce data.
- Project Management & Delivery:
- Collaborate with the PMO to support project planning, task allocation, and timely delivery of solutions.
- Ensure development work is completed within defined scope and deadlines.
- Code Quality & Standards:
- Conduct peer code reviews, enforce coding best practices, and maintain high-quality development standards.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and performance requirements.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Partner with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Provide clear technical insights and recommendations to stakeholders and clients.
- Technical Strategy & Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to the technical roadmap by recommending tools, frameworks, and strategies.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and incorporate industry best practices.
- Knowledge Sharing & Documentation:
- Maintain thorough documentation of code, APIs, and architectural decisions.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge transfer across the development team.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Lightning, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (SOAP, REST, Bulk, Metadata) and system integrations.
- Proficiency in SOQL and SOSL for data manipulation and retrieval.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, compliance, and performance optimization best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification preferred.
