Team (Project) Introduction
The Office of the Chief Information Technology Officer (OCTO) of 9th Way Insignia is looking for an accomplished Developer - Applied Analytics to join our highly motivated and dedicated team of data engineering and analytic professionals. We are designing and delivering automated data pipelines using process automation tools to create workflows that cleanse and prepare data for consumption of our customers. This data will be used by you to develop analytic capabilities, including metrics reporting dashboards and automated processes.

The Developer - Applied Analytics aligns within 9th Way Insignia as an Engineer, 2 has a good understanding of the software development life cycle and can take on work without much direction majority of the time. Performs multiple engineering-related tasks in various assignments within the project and firm. An Engineer, 2 has broad knowledge of engineering procedures and assists in the resolution of complex problems. An Engineer, 2, has strong technical skills and background, a knack for learning new technologies, and a blend of good problem-solving and innovation needed to resolve a wide variety of technical production challenges.

Functional Job (LCAT) Information
A Developer - Applied Analytics has development experience using multiple data and process automation tools and scripting languages.

Responsibilities
  • Experience designing and developing data visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik). Power BI preferred.
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Power Platform experience to include
    • Power Apps (Canvas apps, Model-Driven)
    • Dataverse
    • Power Automate
  • Process automation experience is a plus (e.g., UiPath, Salesforce, Appian)
  • Supervise and mentor junior developers.
  • Soft skills:
    • Great at eliciting requirements, facing customers/users
    • Great communication skills, articulate
    • Work independently w/out a lot of oversight but collaborative as needed
    • Agile, rapid development mindset
    • Innovative thinker, problem solver, think outside the box
    • Attention to detail

Preferred/Desired
  • Advanced Data Analytics experience, algorithm development
  • Generative AI experience
  • Agile development experience
  • Data science experience, developing ML/AI projects in Python/Jupyter. Experience using Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). Experience leveraging 3 rd -party systems' APIs to extract data via Python API wrappers.

Minimum Education Requirements

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.

Salary Range

$78,522 - $87,000 USD
