Position: Senior Salesforce Technical Architect
Location: 100% Remote
Term: 6 months contract to hire
Technical must-haves:
- HM is not looking for a Salesforce admin or developer; she really needs a Salesforce enterprise-level architect with expertise in leading enterprise-level Salesforce implementation
- 10+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 4 years in an architect role
- Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce integrations
- Experience with CI/CD tools, data migration, and integration tools
- Expertise in security architecture and identity management
The Need:
- The primary function of this role is to be a technical enterprise architect for Field Service and Service Cloud in Salesforce.
- This will also cover asset life cycle management.
- This role will be responsible for representing IT and the design principles.
- Client also has another project that will kick off in 6 months; this role would help with that as well.
- The second project will be their move off Oracle.
- Mostly looking for an architect who specializes in Salesforce, Field Service, Sales Service, and Service / Sales Cloud implementation.
The project goal:- Client will be using the field and service cloud modules to set up service calls - this is the technician-facing application
- Responsible for Model design and workflow
- Currently, Seibel is integrated with Oracle, but Client wants to replace that with Salesforce
- Integration tool, and the focus will be mostly on Salesforce field service.
Position Summary Client is seeking an individual with deep expertise in Salesforce Field Service and Service Cloud to join our IT team. This role is pivotal to our multi-year Salesforce transformation, starting with the initial implementation of Field Service, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud.
Duties
- Design and lead enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions across Field Service, Sales, Service, Marketing, and Experience Clouds, ensuring they meet business objectives and technical standards.
- Establish and enforce development best practices, coding standards, and governance models, while guiding technical teams through complex architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical designs, and architect secure, scalable integrations with external platforms.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, enforce security and compliance protocols, and ensure all Salesforce implementations are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
- Mentor developers, architects, and administrators, fostering a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and innovation across the Salesforce team.
Experience
- 10+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 4 years in an architect role.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
- Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce integrations.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, data migration, and integration tools.
- Strong understanding of security architecture and identity management.
- Preferred certifications: Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect (CTA), Platform Developer II, Integration Architecture Designer.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
