What You Will Do

We are seeking an inspirational leader to assume comprehensive responsibility for our Product Engineering function. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle, guiding initiatives from initial ideation and development through to successful market launch and sustained operational support. Success requires dynamic collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design and Operations, to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that are strategically aligned with market needs and critical business objectives.
  • Lead the Product Engineering team, providing strategic direction, coaching, and performance management.
  • Define and implement the product engineering roadmap, aligning with product strategy and business goals.
  • Establish and maintain high-quality engineering standards and practices.
  • Oversee the budget and resources allocated to product engineering activities.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies, and recommend their adoption when appropriate.
  • Represent the Product Engineering team in executive meetings and presentations.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product engineering leadership roles.
  • Applied deep technical expertise in an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment, focusing on the design and optimization of PCBA testing protocols.
  • Drive continuous improvement by utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce defects and increase throughput.
  • Ensure strict compliance with ISO quality standards across all manufacturing processes.
  • Proven track record of success in managing and delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Product Engineering to join our Operations Team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of product engineering, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing support.
