Job Title: NG911 - Business Process SME
Location: Brooklyn, NY

Job Description:

  • NG911 Business Process SME
  • Provide expert advice to the client's NG9-1-1 team in all aspects of NG9-1- including and especially Call Handling System Integration.
  • Provide business process methodology expertise to the NYPD and FDNY for system implementation and testing.
  • Assist in the development of use cases and call flows for all types of NG9-1-1 calls.
  • Support the NG9-1-1 Call Handling requirements and validation of required standards.

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered

  • At least 12 years of hands-on experience at senior level as an audio/telephony systems SME.
  • Extensive experience in the following technology areas: Public Safety systems, Quality Assurance, Systems Design, Development, Integration and Testing
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry or sector in which the business operates.
  • Understanding the specific challenges, regulations, and nuances of the industry is crucial
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex process information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business process management.
  • Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Learning Agility: Willingness and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
  • Relevant certifications in business process management or related areas.
  • Relevant certifications in business process management or related areas, such as Six Sigma, Lean, BPMN, or others, are often preferred or required.
  • Ability to leverage technology to enhance and automate business processes.
