Job Description: Sr. Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Location: Sacramento ,CA-Onsite From day one

Employment Type: Contract

Experience: 7-8 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient Azure solutions for clients.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical roadmaps.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or other tools.

• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud-based systems through monitoring and optimization techniques.

• Provide expert-level guidance on Microsoft Azure best practices to customers

• Development of CI/CD pipelines for management of software on infrastructure

• Deployment of monitoring systems to ensure ongoing system reliability

• Experience in designing and deployment of resilient, backup, and disaster recovery solutions on cloud.

• Experience working in customer facing roles

Technical Skills:

• Must be Azure Certified

• Knowledgeable about security requirements including encryption in transit and at rest, vulnerability management, access controls, etc

• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks

• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) platforms (e.g., Splunk, ELK).

• Hands on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Biceps etc.), writing Azure DevOps Pipeline YAMLs etc.

• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, CheckMarx, Argo CD, Ansible etc.

• Experience managing web applications, web servers, application server frameworks in VM and Cloud based configurations

• Good to have:

• Knowledge of other cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform

• Knowledge of design and deployments in multi-cloud environment

• Certifications on other cloud platforms
