Worldwide Technology is looking for a Systems Administrator. This role is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Location: St. Louis, MO, US - onsite
Duration/Type of Job: 12+ months
Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $35 to $50 hourly (Rate range is on C2C basis). Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Systems Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. Working closely with our senior administrators, you will play a key role in supporting our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functioning.
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software-related problems.
- Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, email, and anti-virus programs.
- Collaborate with senior administrators to implement security measures and perform regular system updates.
- Document system configurations, changes, and procedures for future reference.
- Participate in on-call support rotation and respond to system emergencies.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to contribute to the improvement of system efficiency.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server) is a plus.
- Experience with Storage/Back-ups is a plus.
