Position Details
- Location: On-site in Nashville, Tennessee (37203)
- Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (4x10 schedule)
- Pay: $22/hour
- Contract: 6 months with strong potential for extension and permanent conversion
- Start Date: July 2025 (specific date TBD)
What You'll Do
Daily Operations Excellence:
- Manage and coordinate daily freight movements flowing into North American fulfillment centers
- Serve as the process and execution expert for your assigned operations
- Use sound judgment to contain disruptions or escalate appropriately to leadership
- Execute all processes according to established standard work expectations
Relationship & Communication Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide tactical communication with customers, carriers, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Move seamlessly between shipper support teams with deep systems and process knowledge
- Create comprehensive weekly narratives outlining findings and variances to operational goals
- Present analytical findings in leadership review forums
Analysis & Process Improvement:
- Pull and analyze data from databases using Excel, Access, SQL, and other data management systems
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business decisions
- Develop performance metrics that drive measurable business results
- Lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes and identify root causes of operational defects
- Systematically escalate problems while ensuring proper follow-through on resolutions
Strategic Support:
- Work within tight time constraints to meet critical business needs
- Scope out business and functional requirements for technical teams
- Understand business impact of operational trends and make data-driven recommendations
- Standardize processes to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce defects

Required Experience:
- 1-3+ years of freight/logistics coordination experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis
- Proven carrier relationship management experience
- Track record of successful process improvement initiatives
- Experience with Excel, Access, SQL, and other data management systems
Essential Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong program management capabilities
- Ability to pull, analyze, and interpret data with ease
- Experience standardizing processes and eliminating root causes of operational issues
