Description:
Position: Helpdesk Support

Location: Austin, TX, 78701
Duration: 3 months contract then hired permanently (Temp-to-Hire)
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

About the Role

As a Helpdesk Support Specialist, you will provide front-line technical assistance to internal users, ensuring timely resolution of IT-related issues. You'll handle inbound calls and emails, diagnose problems, and deliver solutions while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across varying levels of technical proficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to inbound support requests via phone and email, ensuring accurate documentation of all interactions.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting, including password resets, printer configurations, and break/fix instructions.
  • Update website content as needed.
  • Support onboarding activities, including account creation and hardware configuration.
  • Provide assistance for audio/video equipment in conference rooms.
  • Execute documented solutions for more complex configurations.
  • Escalate unresolved issues and communicate recurring trends to management.


Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years delivering superior customer service across multiple channels (phone, email, in-person).
  • 2+ years supporting users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
  • 2+ years experience troubleshooting computers and software (Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 10, Adobe products).
  • 1+ year experience with Active Directory.
  • 1+ year experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure).


Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong desire for career growth within the organization.
  • Certifications highly preferred: CompTIA A+, CompTIA ITF+, or equivalent.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
