Windows Application Support Consultant

Job Description: Title: Windows Application Support Consultant Position Type: 6+ Months Contract Location: Remote
Required:
• We are seeking a Windows Consultant for our client. Application Support experience with in-house developed and vendor applications, including the ability to analyze/troubleshoot/debug/resolve issues.
• Available for after hours and weekend on-call support in a rotation. Moderate level development experience with C# writing batch/command line programs, Windows services, multi-threaded processes, automation jobs, FAT client, and Web User Interfaces (JAVA a plus)
• Experience with development of Windows Batch programs (and also Powershell a plus)
• Ability to read and develop moderate SQL statements on SQL Server and Oracle
• Understanding and ability to code for Active Directory queries, AD authentication and Authorizations
• Experience with SSL certificates, key based encryption, firewall rules, and file transfers all a plus
• Ability to read and interpret requirements, either paper or by voice, and turn them into usable products.
• IIS and Apache experience a plus
• Experience w/ MS Office products (Word, Excel, Project, Visio)
• Experience w/ JIRA and Confluence (a plus).
