Job Details

The Desktop Support Technician will provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across the organization. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Active Directory and device management tools, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and handling multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and mobile device issues for end users.
  • Perform workstation imaging and configuration using SCCM and Intune for Windows devices.
  • Manage mobile device enrollment and compliance through MDM solutions.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory.
  • Provide basic network support, including IP addressing, VLAN configuration, and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Assist with deployment and setup of desktops, laptops, and peripherals, ensuring proper cable management and ergonomic standards.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and processes in the IT ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth rollouts and system upgrades.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer service, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and mobile devices.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration.
  • Knowledge of SCCM and Intune for PC imaging and mobile device management.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Windows 11 deployments and upgrades.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar).
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft MD-100/MD-101, or similar.

This is a Contract position based out of Green Bay, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
