Job Title: Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack)


Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid 1 day/week onsite)


Duration: 12+ months with extension


Start Date: September 2025


Pay Range - $50-57/hr


Interview Process: 1 round (primarily technical + some behavioral), onsite preferred


About the Role:


We are looking for a Full Stack MERN Developer to join a growing team working on a digital mapping and analytics platform that supports outage playback, post-event analysis, and operational planning. This role is ideal for developers who thrive in full-stack environments, are passionate about building scalable applications, and want to contribute to advanced visualization and simulation tools.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain MERN stack applications (React, Node.js, MongoDB).

  • Implement interactive map layers using Googgle Maps/Mapbox.

  • Build new Node.js APIs from scratch and integrate with MongoDB backend.

  • Support deployments in OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.

  • Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and enhance outage simulation features.

  • Collaborate in Agile/SCRUM environment with Product Owner, BA, testers, and developers.

  • Provide demos during monthly/quarterly showcases.


Must Haves:



  • 3 7 years of full stack development (React + Node.js + MongoDB).

  • Strong React experience with interactive map development (Googgle Maps, Mapbox).

  • Hands-on Node.js REST API development.

  • Strong MongoDB skill and working knowledge of Oracle SQL.

  • Experience with Docker, Git/Bitbucket.

  • Exposure to OpenShift or Kubernetes deployments.

  • Excellent communication skill; proactive team player.


Nice to Have:



  • Experience in utility/energy/distribution grid industry.

  • Charting/data visualization (Chart.js, Recharts, D3.js).

  • Familiarity with Next.js or NestJS, TypeScript, WebSockets.

  • Strong presentation skill for client demos.


What We re Looking For:



  • True full-stack developers with strong Node.js + MongoDB expertise (not just frontend-heavy).

  • Hands-on React + Next.js production experience with SSR and performance optimization.

  • Developers who have worked across design deployment support, owning applications end-to-end.

  • Experience implementing authentication flows (Next.js + Node).
