Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join an established healthcare organization for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position is mostly REMOTE/WFH but candidates should be able to commute to greater Philadelphia area occasionally/as-needed. Experience working in a healthcare provider environment (hospital or similar) is required.

Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:
- Responsible for overseeing multiple programs and projects, managing the full project lifecycle.
- Ensuring successful integration of new systems with existing clinical, administrative, and financial operations.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across various operational functions.
Qualifications of the Senior Project Manager:
- 7+ years of project management experience with experience managing software / healthcare system projects.
- Must have experience working in a healthcare provider environment.
- Experience managing ambulatory projects and experience in revenue cycle management
- Experience managing projects related to EMR/EHR (Epic experience preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in program and project management disciplines within a complex Information Systems environment.
- Experience evaluating, developing, and implementing custom and packaged software projects.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations and systems is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with applications development, database management, and operating systems.
- Proficient in creating project artifacts such as work breakdown structures, test plans, and go-live strategies.
- Strong business analysis skills, including business and functional requirements development.

Compensation for the Senior Project Manager:
- Hourly Rate: $70-$80/hour (depending on experience)
