Partial Remote in Pasadena, CA (1-2 Days Onsite)

Seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer who will be responsible for establishing data pipelines, migrating data from the source of truth to the data lake, and working with Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Synapse, Power BI, and Power Automate tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data engineering/ETL work in a data warehouse/data lake environment. SQL, MS Fabric, MS Synapse, Power BI, Power Automate are required. Experience in data modeling and data pipeline development/optimization is needed.
Responsibilities
Managing and optimizing data architecture and infrastructure.
Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow from various sources to the data lake.
Implementing data integration solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Synapse.
Creating and managing data models and reports in Power BI.
Automating data processes using Power Automate.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms.
Monitoring and optimizing data pipeline performance.
Providing support and troubleshooting for data-related issues.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Synapse, Power BI, and Power Automate is required.
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices is required.
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data migration is required.
Excellent SQL skills and familiarity with other data query languages is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities is required.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment is required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written is required.
Proven track record of successful data engineering projects.
Demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft data tools and platforms.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
The estimated pay range for this position is USD $65.00/hr - USD $75.00/hr.
