Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join our dynamic team in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, and Oracle tools and technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing database solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

  • Develop complex queries and performance tuning for large-scale databases.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to gather and interpret requirements.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications.

  • Participate in database architecture planning and capacity planning activities.

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across applications.

  • Support data migration, integration, and ETL processes.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in Oracle development (for H1B candidates).

  • Strong expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle database design.

  • Experience with Oracle 12c/19c or later versions.

  • Solid understanding of performance tuning and query optimization.

  • Familiarity with data modeling and ETL tools.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, or Oracle Apex.

  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience working in a financial or healthcare domain is a plus.
