Job Details

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of retail and e-commerce technology projects from initiation to deployment.

  • Create project plans, timelines, sprint schedules, and resource allocation strategies.

  • Track and manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.

2. Retail & E-Commerce Functional Expertise

  • Manage projects related to Order Management Systems (OMS), Inventory Management, Merchandising, and E-Commerce platforms.

  • Partner with business teams to understand needs around catalog updates, promotions, pricing, inventory visibility, and fulfillment workflows.

  • Support implementation of logistics workflows including order routing, shipping, warehouse operations, and returns.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, and Customer Experience teams.

  • Coordinate requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and UAT with business stakeholders.

  • Ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.

4. Agile Project Execution

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, grooming, and retrospectives.

  • Maintain backlogs, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth communication across distributed teams.

  • Track velocity, burn-down metrics, and team performance for continuous improvement.

5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage third-party vendors, implementation partners, and offshore delivery teams.

  • Prepare business updates, dashboards, and executive-level project reports.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies clearly across all stakeholder groups.

6. Quality Assurance & Deployment

  • Oversee UAT, regression testing, defect triage, and deployment readiness.

  • Ensure system changes meet quality standards and deliver consistent user experience.

  • Support go-live planning, cutover activities, and post-production monitoring.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management within Retail, E-commerce, Logistics, or Supply Chain domains.

  • Strong knowledge of Order Management (OMS), Inventory, Merchandising, or Fulfillment systems.

  • Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, or similar delivery tools.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working with cross-functional and offshore teams.

  • PMP, CSM, SAFe, or Agile certifications are a plus.
