Employment Type: 6+ Month W2 Contract to Hire (No C2C or sponsorship)

Summary
Seeking an experinced Engineer to write, automate, and execute functional test cases to ensure application quality. You ll work with cross-functional teams, test APIs (Postman/Swagger), and help maintain automation frameworks. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting logs, writing SQL queries, and resolving test failures. Requires solid functional testing skills and exposure to automation tools like Selenium, SpecFlow, or TestNG.

Responsibilities

• Write and automate functional test cases
• Ensure full test coverage of applications
• Estimate testing efforts and analyze requirements
• Collaborate to resolve reported software issues
• Test APIs with Postman and Swagger
• Maintain and expand test automation coverage
• Troubleshoot failed test cases and app logs
• Write SQL queries to investigate data issues
• Execute and document manual and automated tests
• Maintain testing repositories and follow industry best practices
• Contribute to automation strategy and framework design

Qualifications

• 5 years of QA experience; Bachelor s in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Selenium, SpecFlow, TestNG, or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and functional testing concepts
• Proficient in SQL and database investigation
• Skilled in test case creation, execution, and defect reporting
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Familiar with Azure DevOps, MTM, Jenkins, Git
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator
• Eager to grow in test automation

Nice to Have

• Experience testing PowerApps
• Performance testing knowledge
