Tech Data Analyst at NYC, NY Location.

Experience in working on data lineage or data architecture.
Have experience working on large complex financial system architecture. Someone with experience of migrating one such system to another would be ideal.
Have experience working across different financial product types
Ability to write SQL queries (or KDB)
Ability to read a variety of dev languages, such as Java, C++ , perl, python
Collaborate with firmwide data governance teams to ensure that lineage metadata requirements are clearly defined.
Analyse ERS(equity risk systems)'s inputs and outputs with help from the SMEs
Work with stakeholders to define and map the end-to-end flow of data, identifying sources, transformations, destinations, and dependencies.
Create a proposal on how we can create an automated data catalogue solution across ERS systems.
Identify issues related to data inconsistencies, lineage discrepancies, or errors in data transformation processes and work with the appropriate dev squads to get these addressed.
