DESCRIPTION:
Customer facing solution validation service engineer, providing support to customer on validating their solution, role will include below responsibilities:
- Engage with customers and other Cisco stakeholders on successful planning and execution of validation engagements.
- Support Webscale or Enterprise customers to accelerate implementation of new platforms/solutions.
- Validate new design solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Drive requirements discussions, analyze test requirements, build test lab configurations, author and execute test plans, and document results.
- Identify key issues and gaps and work with engineering and delivery teams to resolve them.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects from Delivery and Sales teams to meet customer needs
- Innovate to gain efficiency and accelerate validation efforts.
- Collaborate with other engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
Minimum Requirements and Desired Skills:
10+ years' experience working with Cisco products
Routing and Switching experience, R&S and/or DC CCNA Required, CCNP Preferred
Strong knowledge of NX-OS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR and IOS configuration.
Strong knowledge of Cisco DC and Enterprise platforms (Catalyst Platforms)
Experience in VXLAN, LISP, BGP, OSPF Routing, Data Center Switching
Programming experience (python, ROBOT)
Ixia/Spirent test tool knowledge
Test and Validation experience
Additional skills desired:
SDWAN skills
Wireless WLC, gRPC
IOS-XR knowledge
