Scope of the work:

Software Engineer with a strong background in applied machine learning, AI, and data science. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on complex machine learning projects, a deep understanding of AI and machine learning principles, and a strong product focus. This role involves developing, implementing, and optimizing AI solutions to solve challenging real-world problems in a fast-paced startup-like environment.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, User Researchers, Data Scientists, and other Software engineers to explore, shape, and develop new product experiences from ideation to implementation at scale.
• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale distributed software services and solutions that are secure, reliable, scalable, and maintainable in a CI/CD environment.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to ensure the quality and integrity of data used in developing and evaluating different machine learning models, identifying underlying patterns, trends, and insights from data to make decisions, etc.
• Design and develop LLM, and Generative AI-powered features to solve user problems.
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to address user problems.
• Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models for performance and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, incorporating relevant techniques into projects.
• Develop and maintain software tools and libraries that support machine learning workflows.
• Document project progress, methodologies, and results for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced startup-like environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Must-have Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer/ machine learning engineer building large-scale, distributed web applications using AWS cloud infrastructure services.
• 3+ years of professional experience in applying machine learning techniques to real-world problems.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
• Experience with Natural language processing, Large Language Models, and Generative AI.
• Strong proficiency in Python.

Nice-to-have experience

• Experience with search/information retrieval, and recommendation systems.
• Experience in UI development (React, Vue, Angular, Node.js).

Skills

• Strong software engineering skills
• Strong applied Machine Learning & AI (GenAI, LLM) skills.
