Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST (with some after-hours work as needed)

Client is seeking the services of one (1) highly qualified QA Test Manager Level 2, hereafter referred to as the Worker, to support the agency's IT Project Management Office (PMO) and enterprise software testing efforts. The selected candidate will work on complex projects involving all phases of the software development life cycle, with a focus on managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), leading defect triage processes, and acting as a liaison between business units and IT teams.

All work products produced are considered "works made for hire" and are the property of TWC. Candidates must be able to pass criminal background checks as required by Texas law.

Scope of Work

The QA Test Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading QA efforts and UAT coordination for IT PMO projects
  • Performing highly advanced testing, analysis, and troubleshooting tasks
  • Defining and managing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy for TWC projects
  • Reviewing UAT test cases developed by vendors and collaborating with business SMEs to refine them
  • Working with business users and SMEs to execute test cases and validate application functionality
  • Leading defect triages, tracking and prioritizing issues, and ensuring timely resolution
  • Managing requirement traceability, test coverage, and reporting progress on defects
  • Coordinating final sign-off and ensuring UAT exit criteria are met
  • Providing regular project and testing updates to TWC stakeholders
  • Performing other QA-related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must meet or exceed the following minimum qualifications (as outlined in Form A Worker Minimum Requirements):

  • Extensive experience in QA/Test Management for enterprise-level applications
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes
  • Experience leading defect triage and reporting processes
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate between business, IT, and vendor teams
  • Experience using testing tools and documentation platforms
  • Understanding of requirement traceability and testing lifecycle best practices
