Sr. Mechatronics Technician



Location:
Beverly, MA


Position Type: Direct-Hire


Pay: $80,000 to $90,000

We're looking for a skilled Senior Mechatronics Technician to lead troubleshooting, testing, and repair of actuators. This hands-on role supports internal teams and customers by resolving technical issues and driving product reliability in the field.



Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with servo drives, encoders, electric motors

Hands-on skills: soldering (IPC-610), crimping, wiring, diagnostics

Proficient with oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies

Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics

Python programming and data acquisition experience required

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

Familiar with ERP systems, Microsoft Office

Clear communication and documentation skills



Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and reassemble complex electromechanical components

Perform electro-mechanical testing and root-cause analysis

Interpret field data to identify trends and recommend improvements

Configure hardware/software and assist with field installations/upgrades

Document service and repair activities clearly

Communicate findings with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Assembly teams

Maintain tools, lab equipment, and parts inventory
