Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate will design and build scalable data solutions using Scala, Databricks, and PySpark.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with customers on design and architecture to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Coordinate with offshore teams to manage and oversee development activities.
- Create pseudocode for proposed designs to guide implementation and maintain clarity.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) to deliver defect-free solutions and maintain high standards.
- Develop and support enterprise-level migration projects using Azure Data Engineering technologies like Data Factory, Databricks, and Datalake.
- Integrate systems and implement CI/CD processes for efficient and automated deployments.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in data engineering and development roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Engineering technologies (Data Factory, Databricks, Datalake, Synapse) and proficiency in Scala, PySpark, and Databricks.
- Experience in enterprise-level migration projects, system integration, and CI/CD processes; Talend and Azure DevOps knowledge is a plus.
