Type: Full-time | Monday Friday | Day Shift

We re seeking an IT Generalist with a passion for asset management to join our growing team onsite in the North Denver area. If you're someone who thrives on organizing systems, maintaining tech infrastructure, and keeping operations running smoothly, this role is for you. While this position doesn't involve people management, it's critical to the success of our IT operations


What You ll Do

As the Asset and Applications Manager, you ll support the Technology Services team in managing IT inventory, licenses, and procurement. You'll also help with cybersecurity awareness, system patching, and reporting.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain asset inventory using FreshService

  • Monitor, track, and patch hardware/software

  • Manage lifecycle of IT equipment and assets

  • Recommend and manage software licenses and renewals

  • Prepare purchase orders for IT hardware and software

  • Provide training awareness on cybersecurity/phishing

  • Generate and share IT reports and dashboards

  • Support projects and initiatives led by Technology Services leadership

  • Adapt quickly to new technologies and changing priorities


What You Bring

Must-Haves:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk

  • Hands-on knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, and common peripherals

  • Familiarity with software installation, patching, and troubleshooting

  • Understanding of asset lifecycle and procurement processes

  • Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Preferred:

  • Experience with FreshService or similar ticketing systems

  • Familiarity with VPN, MFA, Active Directory, O365, and Azure

  • Exposure to VOIP systems, door access controls, or surveillance tech

  • Awareness of CMMC and NIST compliance (a plus)

  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)


Work Environment & Expectations

  • Onsite required at our Thornton location

  • Hybrid flexibility may be available at manager s discretion

  • 30% travel may be required for project-based tasks

  • Ability to lift, move, and support hardware as needed

  • Additional hours, including weekends, may be required
