Job Title: GKE Platform Developer

Location: Southlake, Texas (3 days a week, Onsite)

Duration: 4 Months

Mandatory Skills: Google Cloud Platform Cloud Deploy, GKE, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform

Job Responsibilities

• Relevant Exp 7 to 11 yrs.
• Build and manage a container platform with GKE on Google Cloud Platform via IAC
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Product, other SREs, and support teams to roll out new features
• Hands-on experience in Cloud Service Mesh implementation and managing GKE Fleet
• Manage lifecycle of GKE addons, Anthos Service Mesh security tools, and instrumentation observability
• Implementing best practices to meet internal SLA SLOs of the platform
• Integrate CI CD pipelines with GKE for application deployment
• Implement security measures and best practices for the GKE platform
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
• Build and maintain monitoring and ing solutions for the GKE platform
• Respond to incidents and make necessary improvements
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for platform development configurations and best practices

Technical Skills

• Infrastructure as a Code Terraform
• Google Cloud Platform or any cloud platform core services
• Kubernetes Deployment Cloud Service Mesh
• Containerization technologies Docker
• Cloud native architecture and microservices
• Jenkins CICD pipelines and DevOps practices

1. Terraform Expertise

• Proficient in using Terraform for Infrastructure as a code IaC
• Experience with writing testing and deploying Terraform configurations
• Knowledge of best practices for Terraform state management modules
• Ability to automate and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform

1. Kubernetes Skills

• Understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components
• Experience with deploying, managing, and scaling applications in Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, storage, and security

• Good enough to look into Python code and able to modify it based on the requirements
• Good Hands-on experience in Python skills
