SQL Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SQL Developer to join our team. The SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining databases and ensuring the efficient and secure storage and retrieval of company data. You will work closely with data analysts, application developers, and other stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
Optimize database performance by analyzing slow-running queries and implementing indexing or other optimization techniques.
Design and implement data integration processes, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows.
Develop and maintain data models and data dictionaries.
Ensure data integrity and security through proper design and maintenance practices.
Collaborate with developers and analysts to define data requirements and provide data solutions.
Participate in database design reviews and code walkthroughs.
Generate reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
Document database structures, processes, and tools

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with RDBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Experience with data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS) is a plus.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
