Description: Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating fully automated Dicing Saws and Pick-and-Place equipment to process high volumes of critical components with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to manufacture products to exact specifications
  • Mount substrates onto fixtures in preparation for dicing operations
  • Set up tools and assemblies based on product requirements
  • Load machine recipes and materials accurately
  • Conduct in-process dimensional inspections to ensure critical tolerances are met
  • Perform microscope-based visual inspections to identify defects (up to 4-8 hours/day)
  • Clean processed materials using chemical baths or surface wipe techniques
  • Maintain accurate records using logs, labels, and digital databases
  • Troubleshoot equipment and product issues to maximize uptime
  • Assist in training new team members to established standards
  • Keep workstations clean and tools in optimal working condition
  • Minimize scrap and contribute to waste reduction efforts
  • Collaborate with engineering to recommend and implement process improvements
  • Support engineers in developing and refining SOPs


Qualifications
Required
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong reading comprehension and basic math skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic Windows navigation
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand geometric dimensions and tolerances
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining traceable records
  • Clear communication skills for team collaboration and reporting
  • Ability to recognize when to escalate issues to group leaders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting
