Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: North Kansas City, MO (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, WAN connectivity, and troubleshooting complex network issues.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, support, and troubleshoot enterprise network environments
Maintain and support Cisco-based network infrastructure
Perform advanced troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
Support WAN technologies including MPLS and VPNs
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network issues
Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Certifications (Highly Desired)

CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Minimum requirement
CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) Preferred for mid-to-senior profiles

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and core networking fundamentals
Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and NX-OS
Experience with WAN technologies (MPLS, VPNs)
Experience with wireless networking
Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, or Cisco Meraki Cloud)

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
