Procurement Analyst

Houston, TX - Hybrid onsite (4 days in office, 1 day remote).

A Procurement Analyst should have analytical skills, business knowledge, and communication abilities.

A Procurement Analyst s Day involves data analysis, communication, and strategic planning:

• Reviewing contracts for processing requirements.
• Resolving supplier payment issues with Accounting.
• Meeting with suppliers and internal teams for training or issue resolution.
• Managing customer and vendor relationships effectively.
• Clearly communicating, understanding processes, and rationales.
• Identifying, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Assisting Contract Managers with departmental needs.
• Addressing inquiries from accounting staff, vendors, and contract managers to resolve invoicing problems.
• Serving as a technical advisor, providing training and guidance.
• Performing other assigned duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills for interpreting data.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Understanding of supply chain management and logistics.
• Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
