Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Cloud / DevOps Engineer within our team.

We are looking for a Cloud / DevOps Engineer with 2+ years of experience with Terraform to design, create, deploy, and maintain AZURE Cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent, strong communication skills, and experience working independently. You will be expected to work in a cross-functional agile team to enhance an existing web application deployed in the AZURE Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, create, deploy, and maintain AZURE Cloud infrastructure using ARM and/or Terraform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deploy and maintain web applications
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards
  • Document infrastructure designs and processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science or relevant field of study
  • 4 + years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and AZURE Cloud infrastructure
  • Current certification with one of these is mandatory : Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect certification
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Proficiency with AZURE services such as AKS, App Services, Blob Storage, etc.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • ARM and Terraform experience preferred
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch)


The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, as compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $120,000.00 - $130,000.00.

This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level 03 individual contributor in a Software Development position.
