RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Windows 11 Migration Technician in Miami, Florida (FL).
Responsibilities:
* Perform onsite upgrades of computers and workstations from previous Windows versions to Windows 11
* Assess hardware compatibility and assist in identifying systems requiring upgrades or replacements
* Install, configure, and test software, drivers, and settings post-migration
* Backup and restore user data as needed during the upgrade process
* Provide end-user support before, during, and after migration, ensuring minimal disruption
* Document procedures, issues, and resolutions for tracking and reporting purposes
* Collaborate with the company's IT team to ensure standardization and adherence to client's technology policies
REQUIREMENTS:
* Prior experience with Windows operating system installations and upgrades (Windows 10/11 preferred)
* Basic understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with faculty, staff, and students
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
* A+ Certification or equivalent experience is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
