About the Role

As part of a cross-functional Agile squad, the Lead Quality Engineer plays a key role in ensuring delivery quality across the team. You ll lead test strategy, automation, and quality best practices while working closely with product owners, developers, and other engineers to build reliable, scalable software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality engineering efforts within an Agile squad and collaborate with QE Practice and the ART.
  • Own end-to-end test strategy, planning, and execution for complex features and integrations.
  • Design and implement maintainable automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Integrate continuous testing practices within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct exploratory testing and mentor others on risk-based testing approaches.
  • Guide team members on automation techniques and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational quality and governance standards.
  • Track, measure, and report on quality metrics and continuous improvement outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 6 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Proven experience in API, UI, and integration testing.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and test management tools.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and SAFe framework.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience testing in Identity and Authorization domains (e.g., PING, OKTA).
  • Experience with WebdriverIO or Playwright.
  • Knowledge of performance and accessibility testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and containerized environments.
  • Quality Engineering certifications (e.g., ISTQB, SAFe QE).
  • Proven ability to drive quality initiatives across multiple squads.
