Please review the following job description:

Gather, analyze, document and maintain all data requirements related to the business applications, interfaces and reporting environments to ensure adherence to data standards and compliance with privacy regulations. Apply standards and best practices to ensure the Bank's data is accurate, complete, current, understandable and handled appropriately. Draft and enforce data standards, monitor compliance with privacy and risk management protocols, and support consumer rights under applicable privacy laws. Leverage advanced analytics, including AI and ML, to maintain regulatory compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Leads efforts to establish and maintain data standards across the organization, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with privacy regulations.
2. Identifies problematic areas and conducts research to determine the best course of action to correct data usage issues.
3. Develops and enforces data standards and policies, monitoring compliance and addressing gaps through collaboration with business stakeholders.

4. Supports consumer rights under applicable privacy laws by implementing processes and leveraging analytics, including AI and ML, to improve data quality and compliance.

5. Creates data policy adherence metrics and scorecards.

6. Understands data governance principles and how they apply.
7. May instruct, direct, and mentor other members of the team.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or business-related field, eight years of experience in a role of data analysis, statistical analysis, data transformation, data reconciliation and/or sophisticated data presentation or equivalent education and related training or experience
2. Experience in ETL Development using standard tools
3. Understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts and prior experience applying that understanding to query data in a Very Large Database (VLDB) environment
4. Familiarity in using a query analysis tool

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Awareness of AI and ML concepts and their relationship to data privacy principles and compliance strategies

2. Previous experience in the banking industry

3. Strong understanding of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and consumer rights frameworks.

4. Experience drafting and implementing privacy standards and policies.

5. Familiarity with risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance processes.

6. Awareness of AI and ML concepts and their application in data quality and compliance strategies.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting standards and presenting findings.

8. IAPP Certification (CIPM, CIPP/US, AIGP, or CIPT)

9. Demonstrated ability to design and implement stakeholder communication and education initiatives (I.e., Training, Informative SharePoint sites, FAQs, Job Aides, Office Hours)

10. Familiarity with creating metrics dashboards using Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau or similar tools
