The Impact You Will Make:
- To succeed in this role, you must be innately curious, deeply analytical, highly driven, and a strong communicator.
- Support business leaders across Care, Technology, Product, Logistics, and Fraud using data to analyze problems, understand the financial implications, and implement solutions
- Prepare and Monitor KPIs daily, weekly & monthly, investigating underlying causes of variances, and highlighting trends to the Executive & Senior Leadership Team
- Perform advanced analytics to better understand the critical drivers of Care - including but not limited to diner behavior, restaurant relationships, and driver policies
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives for department leads
- Be curious! Find data nuggets, trends, and other analytical goodies that help us grow faster and generate more profit
About the Team:
- This role reports to the Finance Analytics Care Manager directly supporting the priorities and objectives of the Customer Care Directors and Managers
- The Finance Analytics team sits on a larger centralized Finance in the organization to create and instill a level of analytical expertise
What You Bring to the Table:
- BA/BS in an analytical discipline such as Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics
- 1+ years of experience in an analytical role
- Clear and concise communicator to peers, management, stakeholders, and executive leadership with demonstrated ability to identify, understand, and influence business impact (including metrics, financial value, and tangential risks)
- Experience with Mathematical Modeling, Decision Science, and Machine Learning:
- Decision trees, linear & logistic regressions
- Technical Requirements:
- Advanced SQL skills (CTE, subqueries, window functions). Optimized and efficient
- Experience with Python for data analysis, modeling, & automation preferred
- Tableau & Excel (or Looker / other data visualization tools)
