DTI has an immediate need for a Java Developer for a 11+ Months contract.

Must work on our W2

Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Remote - Dallas, TX
Duration: 11+ Months contract to Hire (01/12/2026 to 12/18/2026)

This position is primarily remote, with only minimal travel required (2–3 times per year). All travel expenses will be covered by DELOITTEClient.
Description:
The services You will provide the client project team: As a Java Developer Contractor, you will support the development and maintenance of Java-based applications. Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and reliability of applications, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality. Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and frameworks to recommend and implement improvements.
Primary Skill Required for the Role: Fullstack Java
Level Required for Primary Skill: Advanced (6-9 years experience)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 5-8 of relevant experience
  • Front-end development experience with technologies such as: HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, Angular, AngularJS, Typescript, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
  • Back-end development experience with technologies such as: Java, RESTful web services, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Junit
  • Demonstrable experience with

  • vanilla JavaScript
  •  
  • KO or Knockout JS
  • Apache Tiles

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Ability to demonstrate oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in analysis and problem-solving
  • Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic team environment
  • Design and query experience with Oracle, MariaDB (MySQL), and/or SQL Server
  • Experience with agile software development (and CI/CD practices)
  • Experience with remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities
  • Working knowledge of JEE design patterns
  • Working knowledge of XML, JSON, and YAM

Pay rate: $50.56/hr depending on experience
