Job Description: Strategic Technology Partners LLC (STP) has an opportunity for a Java Backend Developer who will be designing, developing and supporting mission critical infrastructure for a large federal agency.

Required Skills and Experience:
Education Requirement : A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field preferred
Security Requirement: Ability to obtain a Department of Treasury Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) is required for this position. Proof of U.S. Citizenship or a is required. No exceptions can be made, as this is required by the government contract. Candidates with an active Department of Treasury Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) are preferred.
Location: The position is a combination of remote and on-site work at the discretion of the customer.

- Java/J2EE backend development experience
- Seasoned developer with experience in OSS (Open-Source Software)
- Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Integration)
- Workflow (Spring Batch)
- Web Services (RESTful, Synchronous / Asynchronous)
- JPA / Hibernate
- Ability to understand requirements and prototype / develop from a variety of documents more or less formal
- Big data / NoSQL experience
- Experience with JSON and AngularJS
- Prior experience supporting projects using Agile methodology is preferred
