• Over seven years of experience in detection, security operations, or comparable roles, with proven success in architecting detection solutions for large or cloud-native environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud control monitoring, identity threat detection, and analyzing infrastructure logs.
• Combines attacker mindset with defensive strategy: strong red and blue team familiarity.
• Skilled in building and deploying detection pipelines across cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) using tools like Chronicle, Splunk, Panther, or open-source equivalents.
• Well-versed in adversary tactics (MITRE ATT&CK), anomaly detection, and correlating security events.
• Experienced in operationalizing detection as code, integrating into CI/CD workflows.
• Effective communicator, capable of translating detection insights for both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Authored and maintained security policies, standards, and procedures related to infrastructure security.
• Extensive background in SIRT activities, including incident investigation, containment, and forensic analysis.
• Proven track record evaluating new security solutions, conducting Proof of Concepts, and deploying effective tools.
