Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location : Menlo Park, CA

Position Type : Full Time

Job Description:

Client is looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Menlo Park, CA. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in automating infrastructure, streamlining CI/CD processes, and maintaining the scalability and reliability of our cloud-native platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

  • Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)

  • Monitor systems and applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, or ELK stack

  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and external policies

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and provide root cause analysis

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles

  • Strong expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, etc.)

  • Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI

  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS)

  • Hands-on with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi

  • Scripting experience with Shell, Python, or Go

  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, or Datadog

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
